Some discs leave whole, some leave as regrind, where we grind and shred the discs down to small pieces to fit more into a storage bin/bag. This is now considered a scrap plastic that gets melted at the reclaiming center. When melted, the discs are demtalized separating the plastic and metal component in the disc. Once the discs are demetalized, they are formed into a lower grade of raw plastic. Discs and cases yield a different grades of plastic. This plastic is not good enough quality for the food or medical industry product use, however it is fine for the automotive and building materials industries.
The plastic is general used for the automotive and building materials industries. From bumpers to composite boards. Your discs will take on a NEW FORM!
Because we take our business and this planets health seriously! .
